Awww Jessica, you look amazing, this is a gorgeous shot! Playing dress up is so much fun, I think our last time was for a theme graduation party last August :-)

Beautiful! We dress up in fancy hats for tea parties here. The boys usually wear cowboy hats or fireman hats. The girls wear the great big flowery hats. And, of course, We always use an English accent! Well… We try, anyway.

Hmm… Must of been a couple of years ago at a local tearoom :) . They have dozens of gorgeous hats to choose from! I must say this picture furthers the Lady Mary resemblance substantially ;) .

LOL, so I hear! In defense of my hat, I actually bought it when I was in college…no copycats here, just good old fashioned style! {Pun totally intended!} ;)

  4. Rachel Lundy says:

    Lovely! What a fun picture!

  5. What fun! And may I say you’re totally chaneling Lady Mary Crawley!

  6. Emily says:

    Old fashioned-that’s a glamor shot!
You look FABulous darling, FABbulous. :D

  7. It’s been a long time since I’ve played dress up :) :) Oh, LOVE that hat. Where did you find it? It’s got some serious vintage style going on :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather ;)

So true! My 2 and 3 year old daughters love their princess dresses. A few weeks ago my oldest saw my wedding dress in the closet and BEGGED me to put it on for her. After brushing it off initially, I thought, why not. 3 kids later, it certainly was a snug fit, but they didn’t care. They just loved seeing mommy as a real princess and ran off and put on their own princess dresses too, And we twirled and twirled and laughed and had our own princess party. (And imagine my husbands surprise when I texted him a photo of me as his bride. He loved it too) It was a precious day.

I must admit, I haven’t played dress up for quite some time. Maybe because I couldn’t zip anything. :-)

I think you look wonderful. I didn’t know about Google Friend Connect. I will have to see about my feed. My private blog is the one I use for looking at updates on blogs I follow. I wonder if that will affect it or not.

Beautiful!! I showed my husband’s mom your family blog photo—and I commented how I loved how you dressed up; you are so beautiful…and inspiring. I think I’ll surprise the kids today with a dress up party!

  11. You look wonderful! What a great hat! It makes you look a little like Mary on Downton Abbey.

  12. Michelle says:

Aw, Jess, God has truly blessed you with an abundance of beauty and sophistication (Watch out, Dowton Abbey gals! You might be out of a job:)

  13. Hey girly! It’s been a long time since I popped in to say hi to you! You look darling in the hat… I so wish we all got to dress like that still. So classy.

    Blessings,
    Sasha

It’s been far too long since I’ve played dress up! My girls are long over-due for it!

On another note, I just went over to the Allume Social site and found the early-bird tickets sol out. I had thought registration was just opening yesterday. I had surgery and didn’t get to it. Is it a glitch, or is it for real? I’m thinking my husband will still okay it, but I’ll have to wait to double-check with him when he calls today. I just thought I’d check with you first. :)
