Finally.
After four long months, I am finally beginning to feel as though I am running the house, rather than the house running me.
It seems that with each new baby I bring home, it takes longer to rebound from complete pandemonium back in to our version of normalcy.
But the despite crippling exhaustion that causes my fibromyalgia to flare up immensely, I have gotten back in to the rhythm of keeping the wheels turning around here - the kids on a synchronized schedule, daily cleaning, baking and cooking the majority of our food from scratch, and planning Rose's home preschool lessons.
And would you believe it? The only dirty clothes in the house are currently on our bodies.
It's good to be back.

Well I'm glad to hear that you are getting back into the swing of things!
That is awesome... good for you! I can hardly hold it together and I only have two little boys! What's your secret? ;)
Good for you, Jess!!!!
It's hard enough to get in the groove with a newborn, but add your pain on top of that. Wow! You are a strong woman!
that's awesome!! and I gotta say...I am little jealous ;)
It's a great feeling to be feeling good again..I know motherhood can take a lot out of us, but those times of being "on top of it" are great! I'm having a GIVE A WAY ..Come say hi :D
You've conquered the laundry?? You're my hero.
yay - welcome back!!! don't sweat it - i have 4 and things just aren't what they used to be, and that's ok!!!
Glad you got your grove back mamma!!
good job! i'm glad that you're "back"! that's a good feeling, i'm sure!
but as for catching up on laundry...ha! i was almost caught up, i think it was a day back in september, but i'm hopelessly buried again!
Love your last line...Following thanks to your award on Apple Juice and Milk!
You are amazing. It took me a lot longer to feel like I was able to get in a good rhythm. 3 kids is a lot of work. And of course we moved when Miss Eliza was 5 months old, across the country, so that may have had something to do with it :)
High five, girl! You are doing awesome!

Glad you've got your groove back! :) Our baby is 4 months old and I still feel like the house is in chaos mode. Still waiting to settle in with two kids...
I can never get back because I've never been there...{sigh}You inspire me...
What a great feeling!! Especially the laundry. I have to do mine all in one day every week and be done with it.
Nice feeling!!! Right now I wish I would feel the same way that you are now.
Between morning(all day sickness), 11 month old nursing non stop (growth spurt?) a 2 1/2 hyper little goose their is not much happening over here.
Yes clothes are washes/dried and put away, meal are prepare and cook like always and dishes are done but my floor is sticky, I have to climb a mountain of toys to get to the family room and don't ask me about the state of our bathtub (the porcelain princess on the other hand got wash very frequently that is the advantage of puking all the time!!!)
Can't wait for my energy to get back, or at least a good night sleep:-)

Ah....share your secret. Seriously.
:)
You've given me hope that maybe, just maybe, I've only got one more month to go. Here's to hoping. :)
Oh gosh... come do my laundry, it is out of control. I have to say, I still don't think I have my groove back after child number 2 and he is two years old now. I need to get with it.
Glad to hear you have your grove back.
Oh I so know the feeling!
Actually, we're are "trying" for number #5 so I'm hoping to remember that it will take TIME to get back into the groove again.
I really, really, really just want to remember to ENJOY my children and not WORRY so much about the details of life!:)
YAY!! WOOT WOOT!!
That is awesome. Please share your secrets!
Way to go, I know you're so glad to settle into a routine again!
Way to go!
My kids are 8 and 10 and I am never caught up on laundry.
Just found your blog - love it! I also love the clothes pin picture!
Good for you!! I keep telling myself that I am going to get our house more on a schedule. It just hasn't happened yet - and I don't know when it will. We still haven't unpacked all our boxes or settled whole rooms yet, and it's been over 2 years. *sigh*
Perhaps you could do a post with your schedule or a series or post where you share your secrets?
I am glad to hear you are doing great!!!

So glad you have found your groove again:)
You are so incredibly strong and capable and methodical and organized that I'm pretty sure if it took you four months to find your groove I'll still be looking for mine this time next year.
Seriously.
I've lost it alreadya and the baby isn't even here yet.
And I don't suffer from fibromyalgia.
So while I celebrate with you in finding your groove again, I am inwardly crying at the idea of not seeing mine for a very very long time...
You must be incredibly organized then! I'm most impressed!
YAY YOU!! Kudos to all of your hard work and bouncing back!
Glad to hear that your back in the swing of things... Bummer to learn about your fibromyalgia... that must be awful! Based on the little bit I know about it, sleeps seems to be a big factor in the whole cycle. I can only imagine that a new baby makes that even tougher.
Hang in there -- I'll start praying for you!
And in a totally random transition, that is probably very inappropriate in light of your excruciating pain...
I'm hosting a new carnival called 'just for the JOY of it' on Thursdays each week. If you have a happy post that you would like to share, it would be great to have you link up! Or you can just grimace in pain and call me bad names. I would understand!
WOW!! Caught up on laundry? What is your secret? I am never caught up on my laundry...there are always dirty ones in the hamper and cleans ones in a pile waiting to be folded or put away....I just can't stay on top of it!
Totally in awe that you ever get on top of it all....I feel that wasy for oh about 30 seconds at a time...
I bet that is a wondeful feeling! I'm still trying to get enough energy to be productive during the day. It's tough with a 3 month old that likes to stay up til 1 a.m. every night. Ugh!
I wish I could say the only dirty clothes in my house are on our bodies I don't think I will ever be able to say that with cloth diapering.
