It happened all at once: Rose has been inspired.
On a day like any other, she was lying on her bed reading a book. This particular book happened to be based on the work of Edgar Degas. She gazed upon the image, as she has a thousand times before; but in that moment, it spoke to her.
And she came to me and requested:
a "hoo-hoo."
{A what???}
Ohhhhh, ok. She suddenly required a tutu.
Although she has never actually witnessed a ballet dancer in action, she seems to have discerned the proper style of dance from analyzing the Degas pieces. Any time she hears music, she appears in her "hoo-hoo," {of all the inappropriate sounding names she could have concocted} and performs the most saccharine, delicate {yet drunken looking} ballet you've ever seen.
With her own unique Rose twist, of course.
And so it is. She imitates art.

That is so stinkin' cute!! A hoo-hoo... LMBO! :D
How cute!! My little girl loves to imitate dancers too. We will watch ballet on YouTube and she will just dance away! so sweet :)
How precious! How smart of her to pick that up from a book!!! Wow!!
She was born to dance...nothing as cute as a little girl in a tuu-tuu!
My daughter just had pictures taken of her new baby in a bright pink one (come see..about last month)
Your daughter is so darling, such cute hair..I hope she keeps on dancing!

She is so cute. I am going to have to have a little girl at some point because I think they are so cute in tutus! haha.
What a darling ballerina she makes too... love how she looks in her hoo hoo :-)
Isn't it cute what they pick up? I have to take a song that mentions Tequila out of my car rotation because my 4 year old picked up on it yesterday. That'll be nice at pre-school. Umm hmmm. :)
She looks like a natural!
Is that not just the cutest! Little kids are the best at providing humor and joy in ones life.
What a lovely ballerina you have there!!! Adorable!

How cute! I volunteer at my church's parent and toddler group and today one of the little ones saw his friend come in, and did a little dance to celebrate! 'Course, he also had to do a little dance to celebrate a sunbeam coming in through the window! Not even me nearly having a cookie stolen right from my mouth by an 18mo could spoil my morning :)
OH, I hope you got some movies of that!! If not, next time for sure - that's too hilarious. LOVE the hoo hoo and wow, what rhythm ~ does she get that from mom or pop?? Look how happy she is, you can so tell she's getting into it!
Rose is so PRECIOUS!!!!
